SA-QSL - Help

Welcome! to the SA-QSL system

This is NOT a logging system. It is a tool to assist with the Worked All ZS award.

Getting around
There is a hamburger menu top-left of your screen. Clicking on the hamburger (3 strips) will bring up a menu. Select your option or move the mouse off the menu to rehide the menu.

Logging in
Login with your callsign and your password. If you don't have an account, or have lost your password, please contact webmaster@sarl.org.za for help.

New QSLs
When someone sends you a QSL request you can qsl (and give them a credit too). Go to My New/Follow Ups on the menu. Here you will find your new QSOs awaiting your QSL. To QSL a contact click the green tick. If the QSO is in error, you can delete the QSO without QSL'ing it by clicking on the red cross.
Please note that while the new QSL's are NOT limited to the selection of band and/or mode, the Follow Ups are. You will always see ALL your new QSLs.

My Follow Ups
You can send out QSL requests until you are blue in the face. Some people just will not QSL, while others simply are not aware of the WAZS. To get a list of the QSOs you have sent that have not been QSL'ed you can find them on the My New/Follow Ups page from the menu. Please note that as soon as the dx station QSLs your contact qill move from the follow ups to your progress.

Downloads
Yes you can get a copy of the QSL's you have. In the summary section of the My Progress page is a link that will allow you to download the qsl's concerned in CSV file format.

Checking my progress
You can check you progress (or the progress of any callsign) on the My Progress page.
You can check the progress on an individual band and/or mode by selecting the relevant band/mode from the dropdowns.
To check on your friend's progress, simply put their callsign in the callsign box.
Please note, however, that for any other functionality you will need to be logged in.

A note for QSL Managers
You can ask webmaster to link other callsigns to your account so that you can easily change callsign profile. This could be your previous callsign(s) or a callsign for whom you are a QSL manager - such as your club callsign.
Once this is done you can change among these callsigns by using the Change Call option on the menu.

What is here and what is coming?
The CSV File upload is here - and you can upload for all your callsigns in one file! Please note the format is not the same as the previous system!
You can add QSOs manually in this version. The dev team is working hard to get the ADIF upload functionality available. We know you want it!

Feedback
Please provide us with feedback by emailing the webmaster on webmaster@sarl.org.za. Suggestions are also welcome.
